Castle Lite LIV up to its position as one of South Africa’s most loved beer Brand by partnering with the inaugural LIV Golf event in South Africa held at Steyn City Golf Club where thousand of fans gathered to witness the global showpiece from the 19th till 22nd March 2026. To delight the fans, Castle Lite established a dedicated fan activation zone where spectators can experience the Brand throughout the tournament. Castle Lite has long been synonymous with South Africa’s biggest social platforms by turning every tee-off, every birdie, every and every celebration into an amplified experience.

Meanwhile the global attention focused on the event, Castle Lite unveiled its latest innovation: Draught in a Can – bringing the smooth, ice-cold draught experience out of the bar and into the hands of consumers, wherever they are.

In a moment designed to match the scale of the occasion, what appeared to be a traditional trophy reveal took an unexpected turn. A sealed case, carried by rugby champion Pieter-Steph du Toit alongside Castle Lite ambassador Juicy Jay, opened to reveal not silverware – but the brand’s newest innovation. A first-of-its-kind reveal that captured the spirit of innovation, culture, and celebration that defines both Castle Lite and LIV Golf.

As South Africa’s favourite draught, Castle Lite has long set the benchmark for extra cold refreshment, famously served at -2.5°C. With Draught in a Can, that same smooth, crisp taste is now accessible beyond the tap – unlocking new occasions and experiences for consumers across the country.
