Betway Crowns First S’bonise & Win Dial Up Fixture Winner In Durban

Betway – proud sponsor of the Betway Premiership – has announced its first-ever winner of the Betway S’bonise & Win Dial Up fixture, celebrating passionate football supporters across the country.
The milestone moment took place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 18 October, where Durban superfan Milfred “Usuthu Queen” Mbuyazi walked away with a R50 000 cash prize.
The latest initiative is an extension of the hugely successful Betway S’bonise & Win campaign, which has become synonymous with rewarding South Africa’s most colourful, passionate and best-dressed football fans at home fixtures.
With the Dial Up edition, Betway has raised the stakes even higher – giving supporters from every Betway Premiership club an opportunity to win R50 000 when their team hosts a selected fixture.
Mbuyazi, an avid AmaZulu supporter and regular at Durban matchdays, received her cheque from Betway Squad member and former AmaZulu striker Lehlohonolo Majoro.
Beaming with pride after her win, she expressed her gratitude for the club and the campaign.
“I am thrilled to be the very first winner of the S’bonise & Win competition here in KwaZulu-Natal. We have been watching winners from other provinces on television over the past few weeks, and as Durban fans, we were eagerly waiting for our turn.”
She added that the reward goes far beyond the prize itself:
“It feels truly rewarding because we spend our hard-earned money on transport and match ticket to support our teams. For a sponsor like Betway to acknowledge and celebrate that commitment means a great deal to us. This initiative makes fans like me feel recognised and appreciated.”
The Betway S’bonise & Win Dial Up fixtures will be rolled out across the entire season, with every Betway Premiership club set to host one.
The aim is to elevate the matchday atmosphere, deepen supporter engagement and celebrate the unique spirit of South African football culture.
Betway has encouraged fans to stay tuned for more opportunities to win, as the campaign continues travelling across the country.
The next Betway S’bonise & Win Dial Up activations will take place in back-to-back fixtures on 31 October and 1 November, when Siwelele FC host Sekhukhune United, followed by Mamelodi Sundowns welcoming Orlando Pirates.
Fans at each match will once again stand a chance to walk away with up to R50 000 in cash.
Running alongside the original S’bonise & Win matchday fixtures, the Dial Up campaign ensures that supporters nationwide continue to be rewarded for their loyalty, energy and passion.
With more stops still to come, Betway remains committed to enhancing the supporter experience and celebrating the heartbeat of the game – the fans.
