End of era and a new chapter

End of February 2026 marks an end of era for Brima Logistics founder Tshepo Mekoa Snr. A company he started with one truck, no guarantees, strong believe with a big dream. Today, the company boast a large fleet of more than 100 vehicles of all variations within the sector and employs over 180 people with a national footprint across South Africa. At the end of this month he will step down as the Managing Director and hand over the reigns to his wife Matsietsi Mekoa. What began as a one truck company is now a legacy as Tshepo thanks everyone who walked this journey with him.

“Brima was built to be bigger than me. And now, a new chapter begins and the mission continues. I grew up in Daveyton, I couldn’t afford toy vehicles, so I built them from wires. What I didn’t know then was that I was learning innovation, resilience, and vision. Today, Brima Logistics operates a recognizable teal fleet across South Africa. But this brand was never about trucks, It was about building something bigger than the founder, something sustainable, something that lives beyond the individual. Brands are not built with money first, they are built with belief. Let’s prove that township-born vision can compete nationally even globally.” concludes Tshepo as they are moving beyond greatness together.
