94 and still going strong

You’re invited to the celebration of the life of Mr Sol Rachilo affectionately known as “BRA SOL” or “SOLRAH”. The oldest artist who is still active at the age of 94 boasting a career that spans over six decades. He started his journey as a Social worker until fate lured him to the arts as an Author, Artist, Poet, Playwright and Cultural Activist. His amazing talent is indulged in his writing, on stage, television and movies. Through his skills as a Social Worker, the art benefited immensely by helping to elevate the community of actors through the establishment of COSAC (Children Of Soweto Action Centre), the first Drama school owned by a black man during the dark days…
